Eczema on my Thumb Joint part II

In my previous post I posted some photos of my eczema before I started using any cream on it.  This photo was taken 21 days after the last set during which I had been applying Eumovate cream 2-3 times per day every day.  As you can see it has gotten much better.

Have you tried searching for “eczema cure” on yahoo instead of treatment?

I’ve been using steroid creams to treat my eczema for years (my eczema is seasonal - summer and fall). All the cream does however is suppress the symptoms; it doesn’t do anything about addressing the reasons I get eczema.

I did some online research and found that eczema may be a result to food allergies.

I’ve found that removing dairy products, spicy foods, fried foods, beef, citrus fruits, and refined sugar (natural sugars in other fruits are okay) has drastically improved my eczema without having to use steroid creams. Yeah, I know… what’s the point of living if I can’t eat the above mentioned foods. Well it’s that or suffer the crazy itchiness of eczema. In any case, my diet is a lot more health now than it has ever been.

I’ve also been taking 2 tablespoons of Flax Seed Oil daily (for about a month) which has a lot of Omega-3 fats… it’s supposed to help a lot with the body’s auto-immune system. Get the actual oil, don’t bother with the tablets as they’re not as potent.

Hope this helps, it really did the trick for me.

    Rob.

    Hello,

we have looked for treatments during 5 years for our two children who were suffering from eczema.

    Now they don’t suffer anymore.

They don’t eat any milk and products from milk. So do we. My husband and me are far better now.
See our story on : http://sophieethugues.eklablog.com

    Hope helping you as well.

    Bye
